That's Strange

We have adopted a baby girl. Twice now I've called her Livy. That's strange. I'm sure it's just an oopsie like when my momma would call me by one of my sister's names. But it felt like a slap in the face each time I heard myself do it. That's strange. My husband's done it twice now, that I've heard, too. That's strange. I guess she's just on our minds. Having this baby girl reminds us of what we never got to have with Olivia.

I've been reading your blog and I'm really sorry for what you had to go through. The story about you crying with your head on her tombstone was particularly sad. You are so brave to grieve so openly and not worry about people judging you. God bless!

Your blog has been a source of comfort and assurance to me since I lost my baby girl last year. I also lost a baby girl and then went on to have a boy. I've been curious about adopting a baby girl. It doesn't seem like you post very personal information about your family on here, but I would love to hear more about your adoption if you feel so inclined.
Thanks for being here.
